Night Visitor
It’s that time of year in the Old Pueblo when it’s way too hot from about 10 am to 10 pm to do much that involves any amount of exertion, with temperatures getting up over 110 in the afternoon and not falling below 90 until later in the evening. Yesterday, I was toast before sunset and didn’t get back up until after midnight.
When I went out on the front porch to stretch, this little guy was hanging out on the wall. Geckos are my favorites of all the reptiles. They’re definitely the prettiest and a lot less skittish than the other small lizards around here. Once in a while, I’ll find one hanging out on my leg.
